City of Berwyn Lead Water Service Line Replacement Program

The City of Berwyn is continuing its Lead Water Service Line Replacement Program in 2026. As part of this program, the City is offering eligible residents in the program's 2026 priority service areas with a special opportunity to have their home's private lead or galvanized steel water service line replaced at non cost. Replacement funding is made possible through both City and Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) funding. Your household is eligible if located within the area below, bound generally by the following streets: 
  • 16th Street 
  • 26th Street
  • 34th Street 
  • Ridgeland Avenue

Replacement funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Berwyn is committed to exploring all available funding mechanisms to provide residents with as much assistance as possible.
